If this is your first contact please write “elder enquiry” in the subject field. Once my computer knows your address this will not be necessary.

The Eldership Project

The project was founded in 2005 by River King. It is a living and growing process energised by the desire of the participants to have more fulfilling lives, to play useful roles in our communities and to build a more sustainable society. It is a not for profit organisation that seeks to trade fairly, both in how it pays its workers and facilitators and charges for its services.

Sponsorship

The project needs support so that we can:

  • Give free talks and lectures
  • Offer concessions to those who cannot afford the workshops
  • Advertise in newspapers and magazines
  • Maintain and develop the project infrastructure

Both practical and financial help are valued. So far the project has benefited through:

  • Freely given expertise in building the website
  • A new computer built by a well-wisher at only the cost of parts
  • Freely available software from the public domain
  • Accommodation for workshops on the local LETS
  • An offer from a professional illustrator for future work
  • Generous financial help

Money is needed to pay for goods and services that cannot be obtained by trade.

If you would like to support this send an email and we can arrange to meet or talk on the phone.

Outreach Work

I am looking for people to organise workshops in their own areas, and I would trade or pay something in return. If you would like to do this send me an email so we can explore how to go about it.
